The site has drifted out of date
Policies, staff lists and clinic times slip because nobody in the practice has protected time to maintain them. Our monthly managed updates mean you email the change and we publish it.
Changing provider
Practices usually move for one of five reasons, and none of them are about templates. Here is what changes when you move to Simpliy, and exactly how the migration is handled so nothing breaks.
Why practices move
We do not make claims about other suppliers' contracts or pricing. These are the reasons practices give us when they get in touch.
Policies, staff lists and clinic times slip because nobody in the practice has protected time to maintain them. Our monthly managed updates mean you email the change and we publish it.
Sites built before WCAG 2.2 rarely meet it. We design to WCAG 2.2 AA and review every site annually, including the accessibility statement.
If appointments, prescriptions, sick notes and test results are not obvious within a click, reception absorbs the difference. We structure the site around those tasks first.
You talk to the people who built and maintain your site, not a triage system.
£550 per year. Design, hosting, migration, monthly content updates, annual reviews and direct support included.
Migration
Six stages, no downtime for patients, and no charge — migration is part of the annual price.
We review the existing site and agree what transfers, what gets rewritten and what should quietly disappear.
We map patient tasks first, then apply your practice identity. You see the design before anything is built out.
The site is built to WCAG 2.2 AA and checked against NHS England's GP website guidance and the benchmarking framework.
Every existing URL is mapped to its new home with a permanent 301 redirect so search rankings and patient bookmarks survive.
We handle the DNS change, including NHS.uk domains, and schedule it to avoid disruption.
We watch analytics and search performance after launch and fix anything the data flags.
More detail on the process is on the GP website migration page.
